We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer specialized in water and wastewater systems to lead projects from initial concept through to final commissioning. The Role: Engineering for the Future
As a Project Engineer, you will be the technical lead on vital infrastructure projects. You will:
- Design & Innovate: Lead the design of water distribution, sewer collection, and treatment plant projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and WaterCAD.
- Lead Project Lifecycles: Oversee feasibility studies, conceptual layouts, and the preparation of technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Ensure Excellence: Conduct rigorous QA/QC reviews to ensure every project meets municipal, state, and federal regulatory standards.
- Be a Partner to Clients: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with community needs.
- Mentor the Next Generation: Use your expertise to train and guide junior engineers in design excellence and project management.
What You Bring
- Experience: 4–10+ years in civil engineering, with a focused background in water/wastewater infrastructure.
- Credentials: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or eligibility to sit for the exam within the next 6–12 months.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Tech Proficiency: High-level skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and WaterCAD.
Preferred Expertise
- Direct experience in the design of wastewater treatment plants (WWTP).
- Familiarity with agency funding regulations and municipal infrastructure procedures.
