ASRC Federal NetCentric Technologies (NetC) is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the Kirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS) contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico. KEOS is a base maintenance and operations support-type contract, also known as BMC or BOS.
Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer will support the sustainment of mission critical facilities and infrastructure at Kirtland AFB to ensure our customer's continues mission success.
This position prepares design documentation to include, but not limited to: statements of work, specifications, drawings, sketches, calculations and building code references.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the lifecycle of projects from conducting an existing conditions investigation to performing a conceptual design followed by various touchpoints upon construction start through to completion.
- Additional duties include but are not limited to: evaluating project submittals, providing for technical solutions, and preparing modification packages.
- Review plans and detail drawings for construction of new and maintenance, removal or rearrangement of existing layouts and finishes.
- Actively participate in technical design reviews and requirements validation; support a range of design development, analysis or review tasks.
- Formulate and recommend new or corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend approval of submittals and provide technical approach assessments.

- Prepare and present presentations/briefings to KAFB government counterparts and clients.
- Capture, synthesize, and summarize key points from interviews, focus groups, and internal meetings, translating insights into draft deliverables and products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
- Have or be able to obtain a Professional Civil Engineer License in one of the US states or territories with one year of hire date.
- Minimum of five years' relevant experience, with preference for candidates with experience working at/for a military installation.
- Commitment and capacity to work in a collaborative environment in support of Air Force mission in compliance with established DoD criteria.
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 software suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Possess and employ excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Be able to take initiative and work independently without direct supervision.
- Be willing and able to work with customers and coworkers in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
- Must possess and maintain a valid US drivers license.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s).
Desired Qualifications:
- Currently possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in one of the US states or territories.
- Five or more years of experience working in the engineering section at a major military installation, preferably a US Air Force base.
