Senior Civil Engineer – Land Development

Location: Fort Worth/Haslet, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team. This position offers the opportunity to lead challenging projects, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in the continued growth of our organization. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and oversee land development projects from concept through construction.

· Prepare and review site design plans, grading plans, drainage studies, utility layouts, and stormwater management reports.

· Coordinate with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and project consultants.

· Lead project teams while ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved.

· Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

· Mentor and support junior engineering staff and contribute to team development.

· Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business growth initiatives.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.

· Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

· 10+ years of progressive experience in land development engineering.

· Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.

· Experience with site grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design, and permitting.

· Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.

· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience developing and executing projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas.

· Established relationships with local municipalities, utility providers, and development agencies.

Compensation & Bonus Opportunity

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses. Bonus consideration is based on individual performance, project success, business development contributions, and overall company performance.
