If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.ResponsibilitiesProject manager for design of water and wastewater treatment facilitiesOverseeing the preparation of design plans and specifications for grading, utility, and erosion controlPlans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of mid-to-high level complexityResponsible for budget, schedule and quality standardsHas full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignmentsResponsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the civil engineering fieldAssists in proposal preparation and interviews and may be included in contract negotiations with clients after selectionDevelops relationships with existing clients and has responsibility maintaining client at staff level on existing projectsWorks closely with subconsultants on projectsActive in professional associations, including attendance and participation in local, regional, and national conventionsSupporting the development of staff level civil design teamTravel required when requestedQualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering10-15 years of civil of directly-relevant experience in civil engineering associated with water and wastewater projectsRegistration as a Professional EngineerMust have demonstrated experience with managing and designing medium sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standardsExperience designing conceptual/preliminary designs and detailed design document preparationAbility to communicate effectively with clients and project teamDeliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraintsExperience working with wastewater collection systems and water and reclaimed water transmission/distribution projectsProficient in BluebeamProficient in MS Word and ExcelPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Civil EngineeringCompensation Range$125,000 to $160,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
