About the Role: A premier motorsports company is seeking a Senior Chassis Designer to lead the design and development of high-performance race car chassis and mechanical systems. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for professionals with deep motorsports experience and advanced CAD modeling skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze race car chassis and mechanical systems using CAD software
  • Develop parametric models, technical drawings, and design documentation
  • Interpret test results and apply findings to improve performance
  • Lead engineering projects and mentor junior engineers
  • Coordinate design activities across development, scheduling, and testing
  • Evaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
  • Ensure compliance with engineering principles and project requirements


Required Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of motorsports vehicle design experience
  • Strong background in race car chassis and suspension systems
  • Proficiency in CAD software and parametric modeling
  • Experience with prototype machining, castings, and treatment processes
  • Knowledge of raw material specifications, drawing control procedures, and cost calculations
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs of vehicle components
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems testing and data analysis
  • Experience in design reviews and engineering documentation
