The Senior Product Manager - Cash Management partners with the Head of Banking Solutions Product Area (who owns cash management strategy) to execute the cash management roadmap and deliver a competitive, compliant, and advisor-friendly suite across debit cards, payments, check writing, and bill pay. This role drives product development from concept through launch and ongoing lifecycle management, balancing client/advisor needs, operational readiness, risk/compliance requirements, and vendor capabilities.

Successful candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, navigate organizational complexity, and bring strong vendor management, cross-functional partnering, and product execution skills. The role partners closely with operations, technology, compliance, legal, risk, finance, marketing, and service teams to deliver measurable business outcomes and a high-quality end-user experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the Head of Banking Solutions Product Area to execute the cash management product roadmap across debit cards, payments, check writing, and bill pay, aligned to business goals and client/advisor needs

  • Conduct market, competitive, and pricing analysis to ensure a competitive product suite; identify gaps and prioritize enhancements

  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements, epics, and user stories; partner with technology teams to deliver in an Agile model

  • Drive end-to-end product delivery including discovery, business case support, prioritization, implementation planning, launch readiness, and post-launch optimization

  • Manage vendor/partner relationships for cash management capabilities (e.g., card issuer/processor, bill pay provider, payment rails partners), including selection support, contract inputs, performance management, SLAs, and issue escalation

  • Define and monitor product performance using KPIs (adoption, usage, retention, revenue, cost-to-serve, service levels, fraud/chargeback trends) and drive continuous improvement

  • Ensure products meet regulatory and policy requirements; partner with Risk/Compliance/Legal on controls, disclosures, and change governance

  • Create and maintain product documentation (features, pricing, eligibility, servicing procedures) and enablement materials for internal teams and advisors

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Advisor Experience teams on go-to-market plans, including communications, training, and launch measurement

  • Partner across lines of business to align stakeholders; communicate tradeoffs, decisions, and timelines clearly to leaders and delivery teams

  • Manage a prioritized backlog and release plans; coordinate grooming, sprint planning inputs, and UAT to support quality delivery

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain product operating rhythms and governance (intake, prioritization, change control, and release communications) that support delivery in a fast-paced environment

  • Partner with Operations, Service, and Technology to ensure end-to-end process design, exception handling, and support readiness for all cash management features

  • Coordinate issue and incident triage for the product area (production defects, vendor incidents, escalations) and partner on root-cause fixes and preventive controls

  • Identify and deliver simplification and automation opportunities to improve client/advisor experience and reduce operational friction

  • Partner with Finance to manage product P&L inputs (pricing, fees, incentives), forecast impacts, and support annual planning

  • Gather voice-of-customer and voice-of-advisor insights through research, feedback loops, and data analysis to inform roadmap decisions

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (technology, operations, compliance, risk, marketing) through influence with clear priorities, decisioning, and outcome-focused execution

  • Ensure controls and operational processes are documented and followed; support audits and regulatory exams as needed

  • Partner with Information Security and Fraud teams on product features and processes to manage risk (e.g., authentication, limits, alerts, chargebacks)

  • Partner with product leadership and governance forums to provide clear status, risks, and decisions needed for the cash management product area

  • Support vendor evaluations, RFPs, and proof-of-concepts for new capabilities; summarize options based on value, risk, and delivery feasibility

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, product strategy, or related roles, with increasing responsibility
  • Demonstrated success delivering products and enhancements in complex organizations, including working with third-party vendors and internal technology teams
  • Proven product management experience supporting a roadmap and delivering outcomes in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Strong knowledge of cash management capabilities and payment instruments (debit cards, bill pay, ACH/wires, checks) and the end-to-end customer experience
  • Demonstrated vendor/partner management experience, including contracting inputs, SLA management, escalations, and ongoing performance reviews
  • Ability to write clear requirements and manage delivery through an Agile lifecycle (backlog management, sprint ceremonies, UAT, release planning)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to prioritize and measure success (KPIs, customer feedback, financial impacts)
  • Experience operating in regulated environments and partnering with Risk/Compliance/Legal to deliver compliant products and controls
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to align leaders and teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong execution skills: able to manage ambiguity, navigate organizational complexity, and drive work to closure
