We are seeking an experienced, adaptable caregiver to join our team as a Senior Care Lead Caregiver. This is a leadership-oriented role for caregivers who thrive in dynamic environments, can step confidently into new situations, and take pride in delivering exceptional care when families need support most.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Launch and stabilize new cases
Support new client starts, especially urgent or high priority cases. Introduce permanent caregivers to families and help ensure smooth transitions into care.
Respond to urgent staffing needs
Serve as a key member of our weekday response team by covering last minute call offs and urgent open shifts. Senior Care Specialists are scheduled and compensated to remain available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM to support urgent client and staffing needs across DuPage and Will County.
This is a guaranteed full time position designed for dependable caregivers who are flexible, responsive, and ready to step in when families and teammates need support most.
Provide exceptional hands-on care
Assist clients with:
- Personal care and hygiene
- Mobility and transfers
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship and engagement
- Transportation and errands
Support quality and safety
Complete home safety assessments, observe changes in client condition, communicate concerns, and document updates for the Care Manager and leadership team.
Coach and support caregivers
Help onboard and mentor caregivers in the field through modeling, coaching, and hands-on support.
Problem solve in real time
Respond calmly and professionally to changing situations while keeping clients, families, and the office team informed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 2+ years of professional caregiving, HHA, CNA, or home care experience
- Experience supporting dementia, bed bound, and higher acuity clients
- Gait Belt and Hoyer Lift experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, dependable, and professional under pressure
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Comfortable documenting care notes using mobile apps or EMR systems
- Must live within DuPage or Will County
- Willingness to travel throughout DuPage and Will County
