Seeking a Senior Buyer with 7+ years' experience in manufacturing to manage mechanical commodities, supplier relationships, and procurement strategies.
Responsibilities include supplier selection, performance monitoring, cost reduction, inventory improvement, risk management, and supporting new product development through sourcing and negotiations. Develop preferred supplier lists, categorize suppliers, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations.
Qualifications include a BS/BA degree (MBA or certifications preferred), strong sourcing and negotiation experience, technical and analytical skills, and familiarity with Lean principles. International sourcing experience is a plus. Compensation ranges from $80K-$100K plus bonus. This is an on-site role based in Billerica.
