Summary:

  • This role involves managing large projects and processes, and coordinating efforts among the Business Systems team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide solutions for IT and business management concerning the application of technology to business opportunities, planning, and implementation of cross-functional applications.
  • Monitor feedback on the use of business applications and enhance system productivity as needed.
  • Translate business requirements into application requirements and work with all team members to execute the application successfully.
  • Review cost estimates of various system solutions and project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
  • Engage company teams and explain complex security initiatives in an understandable manner, addressing any hesitations or concerns.
  • Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshoot problems as necessary.
  • Coach and sometimes delegate work to lower-level professionals.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience working with Asset Management firms.
  • 3-5 years of experience working on investment performance calculation & reporting projects.
  • 3-5 years of experience with projects related to IBOR systems for Asset Management firms supporting all major asset classes.
  • Ability to query and analyze data using SQL tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university in IT/Computer Science.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Leveraged Loans asset class.
  • Knowledge of FactSet and Eagle Performance.
  • Working knowledge of Jira & Confluence.
  • CFA or CIPM certifications are a plus.
