Description: Senior Business Systems Analyst
Remote

Role Overview
The Senior Business Systems Analyst plays a critical customer facing role focused on enabling successful transitions from Legacy MFT Platform to A New Modern MFT Platform, Nnext generation enterprise configuration and file transfer platform. This role acts as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders by translating legacy configurations into A New Modern MFT Platform ready designs that achieve equivalent business outcomes.
Role is focused on requirements, configuration, validation, and documentation rather than software development.

Required Qualifications:
" Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
" 8 10 years of experience in business systems analysis, platform implementations, customer onboarding, integrations, or configuration heavy environments
" Demonstrated experience supporting file transfer or integration platforms
" Proven ability to work directly with customers in complex, enterprise environments
" Experience supporting system migrations or large scale customer transitions (preferred)
" Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel efforts and drive work to completion
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills in customer facing contexts


Required AI Skills:
- All contractor resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to:
-Consistent Use: Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI platforms approved by the enterprise.
-Applied Productivity: Leverage AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows.
-Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and features, and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity.

- Experience or exposure to AI-driven data analytics to support insights, validation, and decision-making
- Understanding of system integrations and end-to-end workflows, including how managed file transfers interact with upstream and downstream applications
" Advanced requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
" Strong understanding of managed file transfer concepts (e.g., SFTP/FTPS, authentication, routing, scheduling, monitoring, retries, error handling)
" Ability to analyze legacy system configurations and translate them into future state designs
" Experience creating configuration mappings, intake templates, checklists, runbooks, and customer facing documentation
" Strong customer facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in non technical terms
" Analytical problem solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
" Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity across cross functional teams
" Collaborative approach with the ability to influence without direct authority
" SQL or scripting skills for validation or troubleshooting (preferred)

Delivery Leadership & Execution
" Lead the end to end delivery of complex technology projects and programs spanning multiple platforms and teams.
" Develop and manage integrated delivery plans, including milestones, dependencies, timelines, and success metrics.
" Select and tailor delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) based on initiative needs.
" Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and constraints; implement mitigation strategies to protect outcomes.
" Drive resolution of complex delivery challenges, serving as an escalation point when needed.
Risk, Issue, and Decision Management
" Anticipate delivery risks using experience, data, and pattern recognition rather than reacting after impact.
" Assess probability, severity, and business impact of risks and issues.
" Own mitigation plans and align cross functional teams to execute them.
" Escalate with clear options, trade offs, and recommendations to support timely decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
" Act as a primary delivery partner to business, product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
" Translate complex technical and delivery concepts into clear, actionable communication for diverse audiences.
" Facilitate decision making across teams with competing priorities.
" Build trusted relationships and drive progress through influence rather than authority.
Quality, Security, and Customer Focus
" Champion quality and continuous improvement throughout the delivery lifecycle.
" Proactively identify and address security, compliance, and operational considerations.
" Balance customer experience, business impact, and delivery efficiency in decision making.
" Keep teams focused on outcomes and value delivery rather than task completion.



Required
" Bachelor s degree (or equivalent practical experience).
" Significant experience leading complex technology projects or programs in enterprise environments.
" Proven success delivering high visibility or high risk initiatives with minimal oversight.
" Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
" Experience managing delivery across multiple teams, platforms, or systems.
" Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Preferred
" Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
" Demonstrated ability to anticipate problems, drive clarity, and stabilize complex initiatives.
" PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
