Business Intelligence & Data Analyst (Hybrid)
About the Role
We are looking for a Business Intelligence & Data Analyst to support the ongoing modernization of our Finance organization through automation and data solutions. In this role, you will work closely with Finance partners, technology teams, and North American and Global stakeholders to turn business needs into actionable analytics and automation solutions that improve insight, efficiency, and decision making.
This position blends business analysis, product ownership, and hands-on development, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of Finance, data, and technology.
What You’ll Do
Business Analysis & Product Ownership
Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, prioritized requirements and user stories
Act as the liaison between business users and development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
Support agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives
Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business expectations
Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
Data & Automation Solutions
Support the design, development, and enhancement of data analytics and reporting solutions in collaboration with North American teams
Develop and maintain low-complexity automation solutions
Ensure data quality and integrity across reporting and analytics platforms
Provide post-deployment support, including hyper-care, enhancements, and documentation
Create training and support materials to enable successful adoption of solutions
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve Finance processes through data analytics and automation
Contribute to documentation standards and best practices for analytics and automation solutions
Apply agile and continuous improvement concepts (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma principles) where appropriate
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field
Working knowledge of data and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, and other relational databases
Experience supporting projects involving requirements gathering, testing (including UAT), and implementation
Basic understanding of accounting principles and enterprise financial systems
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with technical and non-technical partners
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Nice to Have
Experience with intelligent automation or RPA tools
Exposure to Agile delivery methods and/or Lean Six Sigma concepts
Experience working in a cross-functional or global environment
Work Environment
Primarily office or hybrid environment with significant computer-based work and collaboration
Flexibility may be required during project implementations or key delivery periods
Occasional travel may be required
