Responsibilities :
We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to add additional depth to our growing Analytical team in a variety of areas – from Visualization and Storytelling to SQL, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing. This is a critical role which will be responsible for developing, supporting, and enhancing reports and dashboards across the enterprise.
An ideal candidate in this role will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and experience and knowledge of best practices to continue developing our Analytics capabilities as well as coaching and mentoring more junior analysts.
What you bring to the table – and why we need you!
- Demonstrable data analysis and data mining skills (SQL, DAX, Data Modeling, etc.)
- Strong data visualization skills within Power BI (or other data visualization suite)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Understanding of reporting and business intelligence best practices
- Good understanding of BI concepts (e.g. data governance, data lineage tools, data management, data modeling, data cleansing, data extraction and transformation (ELT/ETL), and data analysis)
- Experience working on high performing Agile/Scrum teams
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Computer Science or similar
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft BI Stack – or combination of relevant technologies
- Good understanding of BI concepts, and the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in business data modeling, metadata structure and business subject areas for key business processes
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum framework (preferred)
