Senior Business Analyst - Mortgage LOS (Dark Matter Empower)

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Mortgage LOS (Dark Matter Empower) for their Remote location.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current loan lifecycles and configure the Empower platform to shift workflows from linear milestones to exception-based, data-driven tasking.
• AI & Automation Integration: Partner with tech teams to implement and monitor AI-driven document classifications and secure AI agents within the LOS to accelerate income/asset validation and underwriting decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the liaison between origination teams, Underwriting, Closing, and IT to translate business needs into technical configurations.
• Data & Analytics: Use the LOS to track operational metrics, such as time-to-close and fallout rates, to identify inefficiencies and areas for continuous improvement.
• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all automated workflows and digital document packages (including eClosing/eNote integrations) remain fully compliant with federal, state, and investor guidelines

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience
• 3+ years in mortgage banking or loan origination process improvement
• Hands-on experience with Dark Matter Empower LOS (preferred)
• Domain Expertise: Must have 3+ years of process improvement experience in mortgage banking with a deep understanding of loan origination workflows (POS to Closing).
• Platform Proficiency: Hands-on administrative or operational experience with the Dark Matter Empower LOS platform preferred.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical problem-solving capabilities and the ability to train loan teams on persona-based user experiences
• 7.00 Years of Experience
