Ring, Blink, Key & Sidewalk (RBKS) is reinventing how we build. We are unifying all individual contributor roles under a single title - Builder - because the best products come from people who think like founders, own problems end-to-end, and use AI as a first principle, not an afterthought.

We are seeking a Senior Builder - Technical Program Manager to join the Agent Platform Org within RBKS. This team is building the future of data and AI agent platforms that power product development for millions of smart home devices and services worldwide. In this role, you will combine deep technical program management expertise with an AI-native mindset to drive the architecture, delivery, and adoption of agent-based platforms across the RBKS portfolio.

The right candidate has a strong technical background, demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional programs, and genuine passion for AI/ML technologies. You don't just manage programs - you define the problem space, shape the technical direction, build with AI, and hold yourself and the org to the highest delivery bar. You operate across what were previously separate functional boundaries: driving architecture, writing specs, prototyping with AI agents, coordinating engineering execution, and shipping products that delight customers.

Key job responsibilities

* Own complex, cross-team workstreams spanning data infrastructure, business analytics, software development, and agent orchestration - defining how work gets done, not just what gets done

* Drive architectural decisions and technical planning for large-scale AI agent platforms across the Ring, Blink, Key, and Sidewalk ecosystems

* Define and drive multi-quarter technical roadmaps, breaking ambiguous problems into actionable plans with clear milestones and KPIs

* Anticipate bottlenecks, surface cross-team dependencies, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs balancing customer needs, business requirements, and technical constraints

* Embed AI-native practices into program execution: design workflows with AI and automation as a first principle, and build reusable tooling that raises the org's effectiveness

* Set standards and create mechanisms that improve quality, speed, and predictability of delivery across multiple teams

* Develop the Builders around you - raise the technical and AI fluency bar through mentoring, pairing, and example

* Communicate program health, risks, and outcomes with clarity to senior leadership

A day in the life

You lead collaboration across engineering, data science, business, product, and UX teams to architect and deliver data and AI agent platforms at scale. You might start the morning in a design review challenging assumptions on a new data pipeline, then lead a cross-org planning session aligning three teams on a shared dependency. After lunch you're writing a technical spec and prototyping with AI tools to validate your approach. You close the day mentoring a junior Builder on structuring an ambiguous problem, then presenting a clear program update to leadership. Your customers are the teams and products across RBKS that depend on the agent platform to deliver intelligent experiences to millions of users.

About the team

The Agent Platform Org builds the foundational data and AI agent platforms powering the next generation of smart home experiences across Ring, Blink, Key, and Sidewalk. We are a founder-minded team empowered by AI - we own problems end-to-end, treat AI as a core building material, and measure ourselves by the capability we leave behind. Our culture is rooted in Amazon's Leadership Principles, amplified by an AI-Native mindset: transparent, rigorous, and relentless about raising the bar. Together, RBKS is building the intelligent, connected home - and the Agent Platform Org is the engine that makes it possible.

So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
