Youll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate directly with clients to solve challenging infrastructure problems.What You'll DoKey Responsibilities:Lead the development ofbridge design deliverables, including concept reports, structure selection reports, design calculations, construction documents, cost estimates, and schedules.Manage and executebridge planning, design, construction engineering, and rehabilitation, projects.Oversee and perform structural analyses and develop or check design calculations in accordance withAASHTO LRFDand other applicable codes.Providetechnical quality control, checking engineering deliverables for accuracy, code compliance, and design excellence.Deliverbridge load rating analysesand retrofit recommendations.Mentor and guide junior engineers; foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.Actively participate inclient relations, helping translate client needs into project deliverables and technical solutions.Support business development activities including proposal writing, pursuit strategy, and client presentations.What You BringRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering12+ yearsof experience in bridge and structural engineeringLicensed Professional Engineer (PE)in Utah (or ability to obtain within one year)Proficiency with bridge design and analysis software such asSAP2000, Midas Civil, LARSA 4D, PG Super, LEAP Concrete, LPile, BRASS, CSiBridge, OpenRoads Designer, spColumnProficiency with Bluebeam and MathCAD softwareProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel and WordSolid knowledge ofAASHTO LRFDand DOT design standardsExperience leading a bridge/structural engineering teamMentoring less experience engineersProficient in communicating and working in a team-based environment that involves coordination with multiple design disciplines and officesPreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringKnowledge of UDOT structure design practicesWhat We OfferWe foster an environment where talented professionals have the freedom and support to do their most meaningful work.
