About the Role
Our employer is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations. This role requires strong full-cycle accounting experience and includes managing an offshore support team, with two direct reports initially. There is also an opportunity to build and expand the team as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle accounting
  • Process company payroll (weekly) - Process and manage payroll using ADP, ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare P&L statements and financial reports
  • Maintain the general ledger
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Supervise and coordinate 3 offshore accounting staff
  • Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date
  • Support management with financial reporting

Requirements
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong experience with payroll, bank reconciliations, and P&L reporting
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience supervising staff is an asset
