About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Benefits & Employee Experience Manager to own and execute the programs that shape how our employees experience working here, from benefits and perks to areas such as learning & development and/or the culture initiatives. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, and we are looking for someone with deep expertise in administering benefits programs. You will own and execute programs directly, working closely with external partners and cross-functional teams.

This is a 5-day onsite role in Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer all employee benefits and perks programs, including medical plans, 401(k), FMLA and other leave programs, ancillary benefits, and employee perks offerings; lead annual open enrollment end-to-end.
- Own benefits and leave compliance, including federal and state regulatory requirements and government reporting (e.g., ACA, ERISA, Form 5500, EEO-1, and related filings), maintaining accurate documentation and audit readiness.
- Plan and run company-wide culture initiatives, including internal culture groups as well as employee events, ensuring they deepen alignment with our core values (Drive, Teamwork, Integrity, Caring, and Excellence) as well as our vision and mission.
- Scale and execute existing learning and development programs, including managing the Education Reimbursement Program, our internal learning and development program, and internal online content.
- Identify and implement AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve the efficiency and employee experience of benefits administration and culture program operations.
Impact Statement:
For more clarity on the role, below are the success metrics and measurements for this role in the first 90 to 120 days.:
- Fully owns benefits and perks administration and compliance, with zero unresolved escalations, all required filings on track, and a documented process for handling employee inquiries within a defined SLA.
- Owns existing internal culture group initiatives and ensures they continue running with consistent cadence, strong participation, and clear connection to our core values.
- Identifies and implements at least one AI-enabled or automation improvement within benefits, L&D, or culture operations that reduces manual work or improves employee experience.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a portion focused on benefits and perks administration, including hands-on expertise in health insurance plans, 401(k), and FMLA/leave administration.
- Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to use them to improve People operations workflows and employee experience.
- Highly organized, execution-oriented, and able to manage multiple programs and external partners simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy or employee experience.
- Strong alignment with our core values: Drive, Teamwork, Integrity, Caring, and Excellence.
- Knowledge of benefits and leave compliance and government reporting; familiarity with ACA, ERISA, Form 5500, and EEO-1 is a plus.
- Experience in learning and development programs and/or culture initiatives is a plus.
