Akkodis is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java & Go) for a Contract with a client in Media, PA. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Java/Spring Boot and event-driven architectures (Kafka/JMS) to be considered.
Rate Range: $70/Hour to $85/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java & Go) Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot and Go.
Build and manage event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka and other messaging systems.
Develop and maintain robust APIs and microservices in cloud-native environments.
Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Couchbase for efficient data management.
Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes in AWS environments (EKS/MSK).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performance-optimized solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
7+ years of experience in backend software development with strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot and Go.
Proven experience with event-driven architectures, including Kafka or JMS, and API/microservices development.
Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS (EKS/MSK preferred).

Pay Details: $70.00 to $85.00 per hour
