Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Integration Engineer to design and develop scalable backend services and integration solutions across NVIDIA, simulation platforms, and Digital Twin environments. The primary focus of this role is building cloud-native microservices, API integrations, and event-driven architectures that enable seamless communication between enterprise cloud services and simulation ecosystems.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in backend development, distributed systems, API design, and cloud-native technologies, along with the ability to thrive in Agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience developing backend microservices and API integrations.
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
- Experience designing scalable integration solutions across multiple platforms.
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, and integration testing.
- Experience working with AI-assisted coding platforms and Spec-Driven Development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend microservices and APIs using Python (preferred) for simulation, NVIDIA, and Physical AI integrations.
- Build and maintain REST, gRPC, and event-driven APIs to support simulation workflows and asset exchange.
- Develop cloud integration adapters using AI-assisted coding platforms and Spec-Driven Development practices.
- Enable seamless integration between enterprise cloud services and Digital Twin/simulation platforms.
- Support simulation asset exchange using OpenUSD/USD or similar technologies.
- Design and implement asynchronous workflows, including job orchestration, retries, idempotency, and observability.
- Manage large-scale artifact storage, metadata, versioning, retention, and traceability.
- Define and maintain API, event, and data contracts for platform integrations.
- Partner with NVIDIA, external vendors, and internal engineering teams to design and deliver scalable integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated contract testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to cloud-native architecture, operational readiness, monitoring, and platform reliability.
