Position Overview

The Corporate Responsibility Department at New York Life is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Manager, Operations - Workforce Engagement Programs to support the operational and administrative execution of several key workforce engagement initiatives, including the Matching Gifts and Volunteers for Good programs, Community Impact Grants (CIG) program, Grief-Sensitive Schools Initiative and the annual Giving Campaign. This role will also serve as the primary administrator for the CSRconnect and GrantsConnect platforms, ensuring accurate data management, smooth process execution, and system alignment across programs.

The ideal candidate is a process-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-volume environment and brings strong project coordination, platform oversight, and process-oriented support for the department's workforce engagement strategy.

What You'll Do:

Program Operations Support

  • Administer the Matching Gifts Program and support program compliance, eligibility tracking, and user inquiries
  • Support the Volunteers for Good Program Manager in national volunteer engagement, including coordinator tracking, user inquiries, and campaign support
  • Co-lead execution of the annual Giving Campaign, including campaign planning and training, logistics, incentives, SharePoint updates, and wrap-up
  • Support operational execution of the Community Impact Grants (CIG) program and Grief-Sensitive Schools Initiative (GSSI)
  • Serve as backup for grant payment processing, vendor onboarding, and coordination with internal Finance/AP
  • Respond to customer service inquiries from employees and agents for all programs
  • System Support - CSRconnect and GrantsConnect
  • Serve as platform administrator for CSRconnect and GrantsConnect
  • Manage platform configurations, build/edit grant applications, troubleshoot issues and oversee platform functionality for all programs
  • Ensure data integrity across systems and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Program Analysis and Reporting
  • Conduct program use and benchmarking analyses for workforce engagement managers as needed, and provide reporting on a monthly, quarterly, annual and as needed basis for all workforce engagement programs.
  • Deliver quarterly and year-end reports, executive updates, and campaign wrap-ups

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in program administration, operations, or corporate social responsibility
  • Strong project coordination, logistical management and analytical skills
  • Experience managing multi-step processes across stakeholders and systems
  • Familiarity with engagement or philanthropy platforms (e.g., Blackbaud, YourCause, GrantsConnect)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines across peak program cycles
  • High attention to detail and process orientation
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for community impact and employee engagement
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $81,000-$115,500

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
