Source real estate secondary and co-investment opportunities in the North American market utilizing industry contacts and knowledge of market dynamics. Develop relationships with external investment partners to drive the implementation of mutually beneficial business plans. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for partnership investments, ensuring alignment with firm expectations and investor interests. Oversee the real estate transaction closing process, ensuring all legal, commercial, and financial aspects are handled. Conduct due diligence to assess the viability of potential real estate investments, ensuring evaluation of risks and returns. Implement quality control measures within internal investment and monitoring processes. Formulate and articulate robust investment cases for submission to the investment committee. Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis to support investment decisions, ensuring sound justification for proposed transactions. Lead the execution of post-investment initiatives to ensure the successful realization of investment objectives and contribute to ongoing value creation. Collaborate with the capital raising team to support fundraising efforts for global real estate secondary strategies. Lead and mentor the North American Partnerships team by guiding investment professionals in best practices and fostering an environment of continuous learning and development. Coach and support junior team members to enhance their capabilities in sourcing and executing transactions within real estate secondaries. Manage relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, business line leaders, investment partners, and joint venture partners, to foster trust and open dialogue. Influence decisions to align stakeholder interests with the firm's strategic objectives. Work with brick-and-mortar real estate within the private equity and/or fund/investment management business; managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, business line leaders, investment partners, and joint venture partners; and, origination and execution of real estate transactions in North America, including secondaries. Telecommuting is permitted.
Job Requirements: Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Investments, or a related field of study, plus six (6) years of experience with brick-and-mortar real estate within the private equity and/or fund/investment management business; origination and execution of real estate transactions in North America, including secondaries; and/or, managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, business line leaders, investment partners, and joint venture partners.
