Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Aruba Network Engineer in Vienna, VA. Key Responsibilities: Aruba Networking & Wireless:
  • Design, deploy, and support Aruba CX switching and wireless solutions
  • Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, routing, QoS, and network segmentation
  • Perform wireless surveys, optimization, and tuning
  • Create network designs and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
ClearPass/NAC:
  • Design and manage Aruba ClearPass environments
  • Configure 802.1X, MAC auth, guest access, BYOD, and segmentation
  • Integrate with AD, LDAP, MFA, and security tools
  • Troubleshoot authentication and policy issues
  • Develop NAC policies and onboarding workflows
Network Security & Architecture:
  • Support segmentation and Zero Trust initiatives
  • Partner with security teams on compliance and best practices
  • Contribute to network design and strategy
Operational Support:
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues
  • Support upgrades, maintenance, and migrations
  • Maintain documentation and network diagrams
  • Mentor junior engineers

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with a strong focus on design, implementation, and support
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Aruba ClearPass in enterprise environments
  • Experience working with Aruba CX switching platforms in production environments
  • Experience deploying and managing Aruba wireless controllers and access points
  • Experience creating technical documentation, including design and implementation materials
  • Proven experience integrating ClearPass with identity providers and directory services
  • Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP networking; Routing and switching fundamentals; VLANs and network segmentation; 802.1X authentication mechanisms; RADIUS and TACACS+ protocols; Wireless networking principles; NAC architectures and design
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex network issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams
Work Environment:
  • This role requires onsite presence in Vienna, VA five days per week
  • Travel up to 35% may be required for client engagements, workshops, and onsite implementations across various locations
  • Participation in after-hours maintenance windows and occasional weekend work may be required to support production changes
  • This position operates within a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality network solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
