NVR–the parent company of Ryan Homes, NVHomes, and Heartland Homes–is searching for an Senior Architectural Technician–Mechanical Systems to be integral to our Architectural Project Team, which emphasizes teamwork and innovation. These teams are responsible for developing crucial construction documentation for sales, permitting, and homebuilding construction. You'll play a central role in our dynamic product development process, including collaborative 3D building information modeling (BIM) using AutoCAD. You'll be involved in projects that span from design drawings and structural analysis to HVAC systems and building code compliance. You will also support homebuilding personnel with permitting and inspection challenges, ensuring seamless project execution.Role OverviewDevelop detailed HVAC system designs, specifications, and load calculations in compliance with current codes.Demonstrate understanding of written and verbal guidelines on elements such as structure, residential construction, material takeoffs, NVR option system, roof framing, panel fabrication, and building codes.Research and compile information, consulting with project team members and subject matter experts as required, to support overall project completion.Maintain assigned portion of the project schedule.Review own work for basic technical and quality compliance.
