We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Application Support Engineer to ensure seamless operation and optimization of business application services. Join our team to play a crucial role in maintaining reliability, driving continuous improvement and delivering high-quality support for our technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain smooth business application service operations

  • Facilitate the successful transition of application features from development to production environments

  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve and optimize application service operations

  • Assist in automating manual activities to enhance service consistency and efficiency for end-users

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders during incident and problem management

  • Manage escalations related to operational topics

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to align with Agile frameworks like Kanban, SAFe or SCRUM

  • Oversee release management and foster engineering alignment within Agile delivery practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Collibra or Collibra workflow scripting

  • Proficiency in relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server (Snowflake is a plus)

  • Expertise in incident and problem management for application support

  • Background in at least one Enterprise Agile Framework such as Kanban, SAFe or SCRUM

  • Strong foundation in Agile delivery with release management and engineering exposure

  • Capability to handle and prioritize multiple operations or projects with attention to detail

  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of cloud services preferably AWS

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab or Jenkins

  • Background in programming languages such as Java and Python

  • Understanding of tools like ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence
