Global Service Resources is looking for a contractor in Los Angeles.

Job Title: Senior Application Developer
Location: Sacramento, CA 95814 (Remote)
Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire)
Pay rate: $65-$70/hour

Responsibilities:

Maintain and support SOS application environment
Gather and document business requirements
Develop, test, and enhance application modules
Participate in code reviews and walkthroughs
Create and maintain application documentation
Attend team meetings with SOS contract manager
Manage change control processes
Execute test plans and regression testing
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues

Qualifications:

Experience with Appeon PowerBuilder 2022 and Oracle 11g
3+ years developing Windows applications using PowerBuilder 12.5+
3+ years working with Oracle 11g relational databases
Experience upgrading legacy PowerBuilder applications
Experience integrating applications with Windows 11, Office 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Secretary of State business processes
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
