Senior Android Developer (Kotlin/Java) LOCAL TO Raleigh, NC ONLY Onsite Contract

ROLE DESCRIPTION - Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong experience in Android application development using Kotlin and Java.
  • Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Android applications.
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns:
  • MVVM
  • MVI
  • Clean Architecture
  • Strong focus on code quality, performance optimization, and scalability.
  • Experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Unit Testing
  • UI Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • Familiarity with debugging tools and performance tuning techniques.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Android applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to define and implement new features.
  • Follow best practices in mobile architecture and coding standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with offshore/onshore teams.
  • Conduct Unit testing, UI testing, and Integration testing.
  • Debug and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
