Job SummaryThis position is focused exclusively on the placement of debt and/or equity for multi-housing. A multi-housing Debt Analyst/Associate will be involved in every stage of a transaction, including underwriting, market research, property tours, preparation of offering memorandums, marketing and term sheet negotiation, closing, and client meetings and events. The role works in a high‑energy, team‑focused environment.Main ResponsibilitiesPrepare debt and/or equity offering memorandums for multi‑housing transactions, including research, financial modeling and composition of executive summaries. Experience preparing Agency quote submissions is ideal.Conduct complex financial modeling of multi‑housing transactions and utilize market and JLL data / comps to correctly underwrite a transaction.Manage the due diligence process and drive the marketing and closing processes for each transaction, maintaining constant communication with the Producer, the market and the Client.Identify useful data from internal databases to determine trends and prepare pitches and meetings.Review real‑estate documents (loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to identify issues or concerns.Develop and recommend financing alternatives to present to the Producer.Build client network through meetings, events and involvement in real‑estate trade organizations.Participate in weekly office meetings with Producers to discuss deal flow, status, market conditions and new client leads.Experience Required2–5 years of real‑estate experience with an emphasis on multi‑housing.Ability to navigate the GSE (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA) loan process.Self‑motivated, team‑oriented with strong time‑management skills.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills; able to interface with clients including top‑level executives.Strong writing skills with ability to communicate analytical and marketing data effectively.Strong research, analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.Ability to work independently while maintaining a team‑player attitude.Computer SkillsStrong experience with Excel and PowerPoint; Publisher skill is a must.Experience with Real Capital Analytics, Axiometrics, CoStar, Reonomy and Yardi is a plus.EnvironmentOffice – work with computers, copiers and scanners.Position based in JLL's San Francisco office.Required DocumentsAll applicants must provide a resume.CompensationEstimated compensation for this position: 90,000.00 – 115,000.00 USD per year. The range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
