Senior Analyst, FP&A (Hybrid - Houston Based)Job Category: Finance & AccountingRequisition Number: SENIO003028Full-TimeHybridLocationsShowing 1 location2601 Spenwick Dr., Houston, TX 77055, USAThe Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational analysis across the Contractor Solutions segment. This position partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Accounting teams to provide actionable insights that improve business performance and support strategic decision‑making.The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large, complex data sets, and able to translate business questions into detailed analyses and clear recommendations. This role requires a strong finance and accounting foundation, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and partner with leaders across the organization. This full‑time salary opportunity will require a daily presence at our Houston Spenwick facility during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday, and working remotely on Fridays.Key Priorities for the Role:Strong analytical ability with experience working through large data sets to independently answer complex business questions with actionable insights.Strong accounting and finance foundation to serve as a versatile business partner across FP&A, operational finance, and accounting‑related analysis.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively partner with business leaders and cross‑functional teams.Strategic mindset with strong business and financial acumen to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers. Interact at all levels with budget owners and other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient.Key Responsibilities:Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long‑range planning processes for multi‑business segment.Analyze large and complex financial and operational data sets to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities.Translate high‑level business questions into detailed financial analysis and concise recommendations for leadership.Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that improve visibility and insights.Support month‑end close processes through flash reports, variance analysis and collaboration with Accounting teams.Deliver strategic analysis and scenario modeling to support pricing, business decisions, cost initiatives, and operational improvements.Prepare executive‑level reporting and presentations with clear storytelling and actionable recommendations.Drive continuous improvement in reporting automation, data integrity, and financial processes.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field4+ years of FP&A, finance, accounting, or operational finance experience, preferably within manufacturingAdvanced Excel and financial modeling capabilitiesExperience with ERP systems, JDE preferredExperience with BI and data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar toolsPreference will be given to local applicants who reside in the Houston Metro areaStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience working through large data sets and ambiguous business questionsSolid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and operational finance conceptsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organizationAbility to balance detailed analysis with strategic thinking and business partnershipsPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of standard costing, manufacturing variances, inventory accounting, and operational KPIsBenefits:At RectorSeal, our employees enjoy comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans, 401(k), pension, life insurance, paid time off program with paid holidays, and various wellness programs.Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment.
