How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Perform manual journal entries, account reconciliations, close activities, and financial reporting support.
  • Assist with accounting for alternative investments and other complex investment assets.
  • Review accounting outputs, investigate discrepancies, and troubleshoot complex Excel working files.
  • Support internal controls, audit requests, documentation, and ongoing process validation.
  • Work across several accounting areas and adjust quickly as manager and business priorities change.
  • Research accounting issues and help identify gaps or efficiencies within current processes.
  • Partner with Finance, Investments, auditors, and other stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate results.
  • Contribute to workflow improvement and automation initiatives using reporting or process tools when applicable.

Are You an Experienced Accounting Professional Ready to Make an Impact?

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
  • Two to five years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at the senior accountant level.
  • Strong experience with manual journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, controls, and audit support.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to troubleshoot formulas, macros, and complex working files.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and support multiple managers or workstreams.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, public accounting, investments, or another complex accounting environment is preferred.
  • Exposure to alternative investments, private equity, limited partnerships, commercial mortgage loans, middle-market loans, or CECL is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, macros, or accounting workflow automation is a plus.
  • CPA, CPA eligibility, or interest in pursuing certification is preferred.
  • Must be interested in permanent conversion and comfortable with required onsite participation.
