Under the general supervision of the Director of Transportation or designee, an employee in this class is responsible for the operation of passenger cars, vans, buses, trucks and other motor vehicles to transport the elderly, and employees serving the needs of clients and food. The position also involves signing for materials received and keeping receipt for materials delivered and maintaining records of information pertinent to the duties performed.
Work is reviewed by the supervisor upon completion of assignments for conformity with instructions, established schedules and observance of safe driving practices and proper care of the vehicle.
