Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us "challenge the status quo" and transform the finance industry together.

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to join the Advisor Services AI Solutions team to play an essential role in creating, hands-on developing, and advancing our Internal Use Cases & AS AI Employee Partners that will augment and elevate the roles of our human, relationship-first AS Client Experience Solutions workforce. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of business and technical savvy; a vision and execution, and a drive that transforms that vision into reality. You are responsible for partnering with stakeholders of all types: listening, facilitating, hands-on developing, and accountable for delivering prioritized AS AI Agents with an agent-2-agent architectural mindset that elevates our employee roles and skillsets.

You will do the following:

  • You will act as a system-level thinker-designing, hands-on developing, orchestrating, and building, and deploying networks of AI agents, tools, and enterprise data sources for our Advisor Services business and within the guardrails of Schwab governance
  • Translate ambiguous, fast-evolving AI work into clear narratives, artifacts, and decision frameworks for senior and executive leaders
  • Parter with the AS AI Business Delegates & AS AI Solutions teams to deliver against the AS AI platform vision and roadmap for AS Service, AS Sales, AS Risk, and others based on business use case prioritization and scorecard evaluation.
  • Collaboratively be a strong partner at the hip with our Advisor Services Technology team on technical feasibility for our top priority use cases and scope areas for our Internal AS AI Partners.
  • Communicate key metrics and risk insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, highlighting trends, variance, and business impact.
  • Distill MVPs and iterative deliverables from long-term product visions and goals, focusing on AS AI Business transformation.
  • Champion the near-term product vision, ensuring alignment with Schwab's strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Rigorously and dynamically prioritize the AS AI solutions product roadmap, ensuring the identified development team(s) is creating value with each iterative delivery.
  • Establish a repeatable playbook for AS Employee AI Partners

What you have

Required Qualification

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5-8+ years across product, engineering, or applied AI roles, including leadership in ambiguous or emerging domains
  • Proficient in generative AI technology, architecture, and terminology including LLMs, RAG, system prompts, agentic, etc.
  • Hands-on experience: Copilot Studio / Power Platform-style tools or similar
  • Enterprise data sources (SharePoint, M365, structured + unstructured content)
  • Enterprise system architectures
  • Modern AI concepts (RAG, prompts, agents, human-in-the-loop design)
  • Strong understanding and/or experience using GitHub CoPilot and VS Code to quickly hypothesize on AS AI Product use cases value proposition and demonstrating the agent(s) with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to reason about systems, tradeoffs, and failure modes in AS AI Agentic opportunities
  • Ability to break ambiguous problems into clear, measurable components for AS AI Agentic opportunities
  • Demonstrate judgment when balancing innovation vs. risk
  • Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non‑experts (different audience levels)
  • Rapid self‑learning in unfamiliar domains
  • Self-starter aligning with AS AI Solutions goals and objectives
  • History of picking up new tools, frameworks, or fields quickly
  • Curiosity and intellectual humility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Professional experience in engineering, data science, and other business profession areas using applied Agentic AI solutions in a production environment
  • Familiarity with financial services and the regulations is a plus.
  • Strong business influence skills.
  • Building credibility with peers and key stakeholders (at all levels of the organization) to be able to drive action.  Ability to develop multiple solutions to the same problem and identify the common failure modes associated with each.
  • Passion for identifying user pain points, generating ideas to relieve them, and acting swiftly to test potential solutions.
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and desire to continually reevaluate existing products and processes.
  • Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
  • Curiosity to continually learn and keep up to date with the latest Agentic & GenAI capabilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience using/building generative AI solutions, ideally in B2B applications and use cases.
  • A strong track record of performance.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
