Sr. Agile Coach Opportunity
Genesis Consulting is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Agile Coach to join our team and assist in the Agile Delivery of a PeopleSoft implementation for a client of ours in Cleveland, OH. This individual will work as a mentor and subject matter expert to aid in defining and coordinating all the activities to successfully specify, design, implement, test, deploy and operate PeopleSoft into the client's landscape and organization. Join our team and utilize SAP technology to configure, develop, deliver and support applications for our clients while leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the PMO to integrate Lean and Agile concepts and delivery methods into the PeopleSoft Implementation Methodology
- Backlog creation and prioritization as well as Sprint / Iteration design and management
- Design, development and implementation of integrated project plans
- Continually refine the fixed/variable Solution Intent
- Apply multiple planning horizons
- Architect for scale, modularity, releasability, and serviceability
- Continually address compliance concerns
- Build and integrate solution components and capabilities with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Solution Trains
- Apply 'continuish' integration
- Lean-Agile Coaching, Mentoring, Training and Project Management
- Develop training to roll out Agile processes and standards
- Deliver Agile training to leaders, business, scrum teams, etc.
- Provide support to Agile Enterprise and Team Coaches to ensure adoption of COE practices and resources
- Creative idea generation and problem management
- Lead multiple teams
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- A minimum of 5-years of Agile Coaching experience
- Relevant business process improvement, facilitation, and project management skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to various customers, environments, processes and systems
- Strong background and extensive experience fulfilling the role of Agile / Lean / Kanban / Scrum Coach or Project management consultant
- The ability and desire to quickly learn new concepts, techniques and processes
- Excellent understanding of business process with regards to process definition, design and improvement (PeopleSoft a plus)
- Very strong communication, presentation and leadership abilities
- Experience working in a heavily client facing capacity and ability to manage expectations and remove impediments
- Strong presentation, communication and leadership skills
- Experience managing, facilitating and evaluating scrum teams and their productivity
- Experience organizing and conducting daily scrum meetings
- Experience managing sprint planning and execution as well as providing project status and visibility to client management and stakeholders.
- Ability to accurately estimate project skill requirements and resource capabilities to meet defined deadlines
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
Required Certifications:
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM Certification) required
- SAFe certification preferred
