QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. An AA Degree or certification in manufacturing area preferred.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Senior Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator to work from their Canonsburg PA facility. We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between. Putting quality over quantity, the  Senior Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator will perform project tasks/assignments of moderately complex nature ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Basically, you'll perform fabrication or inspection functions in a research, production or pre-production environment by building or integrating hardware for prototypes, assemblies and large complex systems, building RF, multi-function cables and harnesses and soldering ribbons/strip line skills for RF performance.

 

This position is 100% ON-SITE in Canosburg PA.

What you bring to the table: 
A High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. An AA Degree or certification in manufacturing area preferred 
Ability to perform more advanced loading and configuring of customer/standard software on customer device 
Ability to perform more advanced fabrication and marking 
Distinct communication and computer skills 
Solid knowledge of Statistics and SPC applications
