Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 25 weeks of military technical training school, along with an additional 6 years of related experience is required. or 2 years of directly related non-military technical trade school or the equivalent experience, along with an additional 6 years of related experience is required. Industry certifications are highly preferred. Field service or technical activity is preferred. or Bachelor's degree in a technical field or the equivalent experience, along with an additional 2 years of related experience is required.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: 

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a Senior Advanced Field Support Representative, you’ll install and repair equipment; instruct customers in equipment operation; provide technical assistance; and check equipment for malfunctions. You’ll essentially conduct site and equipment inspections in order to perform preventative and corrective maintenance as well as conduct technical seminars and training for customer or company personnel, informal on-the-job training for other field service staff members and customers, and over-the-shoulder/refresher training to users in the field as required. We’ll rely on you to diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. You’ll be expected to interface with customers, military personnel, government dignitaries, external consultants/experts, all levels of employees across the company, including executive management.

What you bring to the table:

  • Ability to travel more than 25% of the time. May deploy and operate with US Forces to CONUS or OCONUS field locations, including combat operations
  • Advanced training/experience with digital data and voice network technologies ie. Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Firewalls, SolarWinds, VMware ESXi, NetApp Storage, and Virtual NOSC Server environments.
  • The ability to construct course material and train soldiers in the technologies used by the customer. 
  • Exceptional communication skills

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $47.37 - USD $50.81 /Hr.
