AZ Pharm Tech License (CPhT/ExCPT); Every other weekend and rotating holidays. 40hrs.
Responsibilities
Provide acute pharmacy support, compounding and dispensing under supervision.
Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety in fast-paced environments.
Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in daily tasks.
Prepare and maintain accurate patient medication records and documentation.
Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize therapeutic outcomes for patients.
Support inventory management, including stock levels and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrate a growth mindset; pursue professional development and skill enhancement.
Maintain high visibility of work activities and deliver results within deadlines.
Track and report performance metrics and pipeline indicators for territory activity.
Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Support cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.
Assist in training junior staff or interns as needed to scale capability.
Experience/Qualifications
Licensed pharmacy technician with relevant state/jurisdiction registration.
Experience with acute care pharmacy operations and sterile compounding.
Ability to verify orders for accuracy and safety in fast-paced settings.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient medication records and documentation.
Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Inventory management skills with regulatory compliance awareness.
Strong adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards; GMP/USP knowledge preferred.
Data literacy for tracking performance metrics and pipeline indicators.
Willingness to train junior staff and interns; mentorship mindset.
