Now hiring Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist
Broussard, LA
$27.00 - $28.00 per hour

Join us as a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist in Broussard and help bring order to invoices, receipts, and runaway decimals. If you get a strange thrill from catching a 3-cent discrepancy, you're exactly who we're looking for.
Education Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and GAAP principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of full-cycle Accounts Receivable experience required
- Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms
- Experience working with customer billing portals
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Job Duties
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable activities including billing, collections, cash applications, reconciliations, and month-end support
- Generate and submit invoices through customer billing portals
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable subledger to the general ledger
- Maintain accurate customer records within ERP systems
- Prepare Accounts Receivable reports and financial analysis for management
- Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and operations to resolve payment issues
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
