Job Title: Senior Accounting Officer (Specialist) - Telework Hybrid Salary Range: $6,031.00 - $7,775.00 per Month New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Job Description and Duties

This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator I or II, the Senior Accounting Officer, Specialist acts as a lead for projects and is responsible for performing monthly reconciliations, processing claim schedules, preparing remittance advices, preparing monthly and annual reports for various funds, such as the Local Government Agency. In addition, assists in the preparation of year-end financial statements, develop necessary business requirements for new projects, and perform system testing.
