Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role will handle day-to-day accounting activities while assisting leadership with audits, controls, and process improvements.Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yrKey Responsibilities Perform general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entriesAssist with month-end and year-end close, accruals, and financial reportingSupport payroll processing and benefits administrationPrepare and review AR/AP entries, job costing, and billingMaintain fixed asset and depreciation schedulesAssist with compliance reporting, licenses, and insurance renewalsPrepare supporting schedules for audits and serve as point of contact for external auditorsContribute to process improvements and internal control initiativesQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of progressive accounting experienceProficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise (Construction Edition) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables required)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesFamiliarity with payroll, benefits, and compliance reporting a plusSeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Accounting/AuditingIndustries ConstructionGet notified about new Accountant jobs in San Clemente, CA .#J-18808-Ljbffr
