We are seeking someone with solid construction accounting experience and a background that includes some project costing and inventory accounting (fleet, equipment, etc.).ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review financial statements, schedules, and account analyses for accuracyReconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues promptlySupport month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and variance analysisPartner with the CFO to review financial results, including P&L trends and cost driversAssist with job cost accounting by tracking and analyzing project costsAnalyze large data sets to uncover issues and opportunities for improvementIdentify and implement process improvements and strengthen controlsSupport audit preparation and compliance activitiesQualificationsBachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of construction or project-based accounting experienceJob costing experience, understanding of project financials, including strong reconciliation skillsSoftware: MS Excel proficiency, with experience utilizing ERP systemsSelf-starter with an analytical mindset who takes initiative to dig into the why behind the numbersThis is a full-time, permanent, direct hire opportunity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
