If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking an experienced Consulting Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position will play a vital role in our financial operations, providing expert advice, analyzing financial data, and maintaining our financial health.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
4. Managing month-end and year-end closing.
5. Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
6. Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
7. Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
8. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
9. Using Deltek software for project and financial management.
10. Analyzing financial data to identify our company’s financial status and performance.
11. Providing insightful information and expectations to senior managers to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
12. Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets.
13. Directing and overseeing all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this challenging and rewarding role, you need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
2. Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices.
3. Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting.
4. Expertise with accounting software like Deltek and financial management systems.
5. Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
6. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
7. An ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
8. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
9. Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
11. A BSc/MSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
