Job Summary
Premier Restoration Hawaii is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support and oversee daily accounting operations for our growing restoration and construction business. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes across multiple entities.
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily accounting operations and transactional activities in compliance with GAAP
Process vendor invoices and customer payments across multiple QuickBooks Online companies
Review daily bank and credit card feeds; perform month-end bank reconciliations
Manage job costing, inventory rollforwards, and expense coding to the general ledger
Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and cash receipts
Prepare and support monthly Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) filings
Prepare month-end balance sheet and P&L analytics, including variance analysis
Support ERP and system integrations (QuickBooks Online, Ramp, IntegraRental, DASH, and others)
Supervise and support accounting staff, including reviewing work for accuracy and timeliness
Participate in accounting projects, system enhancements, and process improvements
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required)
CPA or equivalent certification (preferred)
2–4 years of public or general accounting experience
1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience (preferred)
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with QuickBooks Online and integrated accounting systems
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Work Environment
Office/Warehouse setting
Minimal travel required
Job Type: In-OfficeFull-time, Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (no remote work option)
