As we continue to expand our national footprint and invest in new development opportunities across several high-growth markets, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team. Job Details

This is not a traditional month-end close accounting role.

As a Senior Accountant, you will own a portfolio of approximately six real estate assets and serve as a key business partner to asset management and operational teams. You'll gain exposure to development, investments, joint ventures, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio analytics.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity for professionals seeking to expand beyond pure accounting into strategic finance and real estate operations.

Responsibilities
Manage accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate assets
Review and oversee financial statements prepared by third-party property managers
Analyze and validate joint venture partner reporting
Prepare consolidated GAAP financial reporting packages
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Partner with Asset Management teams to analyze property performance and operating results
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules
Support external audits and compliance requirements
Identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies
