About the Opportunity
We are partnering with an innovative client in the enterprise software industry to hire a Senior Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth technology company where you'll play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring compliance, and helping scale accounting processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong general ledger experience, a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, and a passion for improving processes while supporting a rapidly growing global organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and perform variance and flux analyses to identify trends and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support external audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and maintaining supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Assist with SEC reporting and other external financial reporting requirements.
  • Research technical accounting matters and document accounting policies and procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Support global accounting operations, including statutory reporting, local GAAP compliance, and coordination with international accounting advisors.
  • Assist with international tax compliance, transfer pricing documentation, and intercompany accounting activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes through automation, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Participate in special projects involving inventory, budgeting, financial analysis, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Support ERP implementations, upgrades, system testing, and financial systems optimization.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that help scale and enhance the accounting organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • CPA designation preferred but not required.
  • Public accounting experience is preferred.
  • Strong general ledger accounting and month-end close experience.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with lease accounting (ASC 842) and fixed asset accounting is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience supporting ERP or financial system implementations is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting a public company or SEC reporting environment.
  • Familiarity with global accounting operations and international compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, automate workflows, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, documentation, and administrative accounting tasks while applying sound professional judgment, validating outputs, and maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy, compliance, and internal controls
