Senior Accountant

Salary: $100k to $105k plus bonus, plus a pension for a total comp $123k to $130k

Responsibilities

• Maintain and create product costs 
• Analyze and report monthly production and source-to-settle variances with key business insights.
• Review plant-level product cost and inventory data for accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve in-transit inventory issues through cross-functional collaboration.
• Analyze consolidated cost and intercompany profit variances.
• Drive cost-control and process-efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Maintain SOX 404 compliance through control execution and documentation updates.
• Analyze global standard cost revisions and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Resolve financial data, system, and reporting inquiries from business partners.
• Develop annual profit plans, including plant, product, and idle capacity analyses.
• Support management with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Share knowledge and mentor peers to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with analysis of production within a financial system.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• SAP knowledge, preferred
• Advanced Excel skills.
• FSA/Analysis-for-Office knowledge, preferred
