    A growing industrial services company is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in its finance team. This high-impact position offers the opportunity to own the month-end close process, collaborate closely with leadership, and grow alongside a company that values internal advancement and continuous improvement.

    Overview

    The Senior Accountant will serve as a key contributor to the monthly close process, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting operations. Working closely with the CFO and finance team, this role combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with opportunities to improve processes and support the company's continued growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
    • Prepare and post journal entries, including intercompany transactions and monthly accruals
    • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
    • Prepare and file sales and use tax, personal property tax, and other required filings
    • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
    • Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity environments
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
    • CPA or active CPA candidacy preferred
