We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior NetSuite Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our day-to-day financial operations and our ERP system. You will oversee core accounting functions—including the month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting—while serving as the primary accounting subject matter expert for Oracle NetSuite .The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in GAAP/IFRS principles and has extensive hands‑on experience leveraging NetSuite to automate workflows, build custom reports, and optimize financial processes.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Core Accounting OperationsMonth-End Close: Lead and accelerate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.General Ledger & Reconciliations: Prepare and review complex journal entries, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet account reconciliations.Financial Reporting: Generate, analyze, and present monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and variance analyses for management review.Audit & Compliance: Support external audit requests by preparing audit schedules, workspaces, and providing necessary documentation. Ensure robust internal controls over financial reporting.NetSuite ERP Optimization & AdministrationSystem Optimization: Act as the finance team's super-user; identify opportunities to automate manual accounting processes, streamline workflows, and improve data integrity within NetSuite.Reporting & Dashboards: Design, build, and maintain custom NetSuite reports, saved searches, and real‑time KPIs/dashboards for various stakeholders.Data Integrity: Monitor and troubleshoot system interfaces, data uploads, and integrations (e.g., CRM, payroll, billing platforms) to ensure seamless flow into the general ledger.User Support & Training: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and best‑practice training to standard users within the finance department.Qualifications & SkillsRequired Education & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience: 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years of heavy, daily hands‑on experience utilizing Oracle NetSuite .Technical Accounting: Strong understanding of US GAAP (or IFRS) and internal control frameworks.Technical & NetSuite SkillsProficiency with NetSuite modules such as Advanced Financials, Fixed Assets Management (FAM), OneWorld (multi‑currency/subsidiary), and Revenue Recognition (ARM) is highly preferred.Expertise in creating complex NetSuite Saved Searches , custom reports, and financial layouts.Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, index/match, data modeling).Soft SkillsExcellent problem‑solving skills and a knack for troubleshooting system variances.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical financial/system concepts to non‑finance team members.Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)CPA license (active or in progress) or MBA.NetSuite Certified Financial User or NetSuite ERP Consultant certification.Experience implementing NetSuite or migrating data from a legacy system (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) into NetSuite.#J-18808-Ljbffr
