This is not a support role.You will be the sole accounting resource for the company, responsible for maintaining clean, accurate books and ensuring the financial foundation of the business is strong, organized, and reliable. You will work directly with the founders and have full visibility into the financial operations of a global luxury brand.What You Will OwnCore AccountingMaintain the general ledger in QuickBooks OnlineRecord all financial transactions accurately and on timePerform monthly bank and credit card reconciliationsManage Accounts Payable (AP) and vendor paymentsManage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing and collectionsMonthly Close & ReportingOwn and execute the monthly close processPrepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)Deliver a clean monthly reporting package to leadershipIdentify and explain key financial trends and variancesPayroll & ComplianceManage payroll through QuickBooks Online / GustoEnsure payroll taxes and filings are completed accurately and on timeSupport onboarding/offboarding from an HR and payroll perspectiveInventory & Cost Accounting (Important)Maintain accurate inventory accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)Track cost of goods sold (COGS) and gross marginsEnsure proper flow of costs through inventory to financial statementsSystems & Process OwnershipEstablish and maintain clean, scalable accounting processesImprove workflows and introduce automation where appropriateCoordinate with external CPA for year‑end tax filingsWhat We're Looking ForThis role requires someone who can operate independently and take full ownership.Required5+ years of accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experienceStrong experience with QuickBooks OnlineExperience managing full monthly close independentlyHands‑on experience with AR, AP, and reconciliationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal)Strongly PreferredExperience with inventory-based or product businessesExperience managing accounting as the sole or primary accountantExperience supporting U.S.-based companiesBackground in public accounting or CPA trackWhat Success Looks LikeBooks are clean, accurate, and always up to dateMonthly close is completed on time without supervisionFinancial reports are clear, organized, and insightfulAR is actively managed and collections are followed up consistentlyFounders have confidence in the financials without needing to digCompensationCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based bonus tied to accuracy, timeliness, and financial operationsFully remote role with flexibilityApplication RequirementsSubmit a resume in EnglishInclude a cover letter written in EnglishComplete a short accounting assessment (provided to selected candidates)Why This Role Is UniqueDirect access to founders and decision-makingFull ownership of the accounting functionOpportunity to build and shape financial infrastructure from the ground upWork with a globally recognized luxury brand#J-18808-Ljbffr
