Job Details

This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, managing month-end close activities, supporting treasury functions, and assisting with financial reporting and tax-related processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a detail-oriented, relationship-driven environment with exposure to complex financial operations and multi-entity structures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
  • Monitor daily cash activity, account balances, wires, transfers, and funding requests
  • Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity planning
  • Review payroll activity prior to processing
  • Prepare financial reports, supporting schedules, and documentation for leadership and external advisors
  • Support annual 1099 preparation and franchise tax filings
  • Coordinate with external tax professionals to provide required tax documentation and assist with tax-related requests
  • Investigate discrepancies, analyze variances, and resolve accounting issues proactively
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and established procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and recurring deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation or CPA track preferred
  • Experience within a family office, private wealth, or multi-entity environment
  • Prior experience supporting high-net-worth individuals or complex entity structures
  • Background in a client-facing or advisory-oriented accounting environment
