Senior Accountant - Business Tax

Kforce's central New Hampshire client is looking for a Senior Accountant - Business Tax candidate.

Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing business tax returns and tax planning engagements for review by senior team members or Partners. This role serves as the primary contact for business clients with basic tax matters and assists in gathering missing tax information.

Essential Functions:

• Provides feedback to staff on business tax workpapers, prior to submission to senior team members
• Assists in reviewing, researching, and drafting responses to client tax notices for approval
• Will stay current with IRS and state law changes
• Support team members by offering guidance on business tax software (QuickBooks, CS Fixed Assets, Engagement Manager, TValue) and help less experienced team members navigate these tools
• Assist with the annual update of the business tax workpaper templates
