Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• 
  
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• 
  
• The Senior Accountant will prepare and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance reports.
• 
  
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• 
  
• Support external audits, compliance requirements, and financial documentation requests.
• 
  
• The Senior Accountant will identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiencies, and internal controls.

• The Senior Accountant will assist with financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close responsibilities.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and account analysis.
• 
  
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting audit activities.
• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 
  
• CPA or CPA-track experience is a plus.
